Articles supplied to Captain Ogle's company of the 9th Foot, part of General Pollock's force sent to relieve the British captives held at Kabul in 1842 (to include quilts, trousers, shirts etc., ) a roll form of the eighty-eight surviving men in the company, signed by each, [interestingly each man was able to sign his own name], a diagram of the formation taken by the army on entering the pass [ verso note. Formation of Gen Pollock’s Army on entering the Khyber pass 5th April, 1842] and autograph notes by Ogle of the posts on their route and elevations reached, 7 March 1842, "At the foot of the Khyber"
