A George V sterling silver ‘arts and crafts’ teapot, Birmingham 1923 by A. E. Jones
Of cylindrical form with rounded base, raised on three ball feet with cut card junctions. The plain curved spout opposite a shaped fibre handle. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a wooden knop finial. Planished decoration throughout, with an embossed band of bosses. Engraved with initials to side D.G. Fully marked to side and part-marked to lid.
