An Edwardian sterling silver bachelor teapot, Birmingham 1902, makers mark obscured ?S

Of lobed rectangular form with leaf and boss rim, the body with embossed decoration of stylised acanthus leaves and C scrolls. The curved spout with an embossed acanthus leaf opposite a leaf capped wishbone handle with ivory insulators. The domed hinged lid with embossed foliate scrolls surmounted by a detachable turned ivory knop finial. Marked underneath and part-marked to lid, stamped Rd 347212 to also. Also struck with Swedish import marks (pre-1988) underneath.
