Great Sale on Tuesday & new designed website!

21/03/2012     Chiswick Curates

Dear Subscriber,

This Tuesday saw another 'fine' sale pull in new clients and some spectacular prices.  Among the highlights was a set of German Gothic oak altar pieces which sold for £13,000 and a wonderful Indian Vizagapatam box, illustrated below for £6,000.

The date for the next fine sale (including antiquarian books) - is set for 12th June.  We already have a number of lots for that sale in the pipeline including a large portrait by Peter Lely with some interesting provenance and hopefully an exhibition quality Victorian satinwood cabinet.  More information to be published here shortly.
Tracie is getting her toys ready for view - the second Chiswick Auctions specialist toy/doll section is the week after next on 3rd April.  Toys will begin the sale at 11am.

CHECK OUT OUR REVAMPED WEBSITE!  As previously announced we are publishing photographs of every lot for every sale on Sunday/Monday before the sale, but to freshen it up after now four years the whole website has been given a revamp with new specialist department pages - as we continue to try and inform you better and better what is going on here in Chiswick.
