This week plays host to two specialist sales. On Tuesday 16th February we will start at 11am with a sale of Rugs followed by Vintage Wine and Spirits which will then be followed by the General sale. 

The Rugs sale features over 100 lots, some of very fine quality, including this impressive Persian Kashan carpet, condition rating A. Estimate: £550 - £700.

We strongly recommend that you view any rug that you are interested in purchasing and we will turn the stacks of rugs at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm on 15th February and at 10am on the sale day (16th February).

The Vintage Wine and Spirits sale features an interesting selection of fine wine and spirits from around the world, including an Isle of Jura Whisky Private Collection, 1976. Estimate: £300-£400.

In addition there will be a wide range of vintage rum and fine brandies and cognacs. A Cheval Blanc, 1945 (lot 161 – estimate £400 - £600) considered to be one of the finest vintage wines in the world will also be available.

Last week, we held a successful Ceramics and Glass sale. This Extensive Paragon 'Queen Mary' Bone China Dinner, Tea and Coffee Service, early 20th century, a reproduction of a service made for Her Majesty Queen Mary (190 pieces in total), sold for £3,360 incl Buyer’s Premium.
