First unveiled at the 2015 Baselworld expo and limited to only 15 pieces in the world, the Fabergé Visionnaire I Flying Tourbillon timepiece by sought-after Russian jeweller Fabergé was inspired by the house’s famed and elaborate jewel-encrusted eggs designed for Russian Tsars.

With the current retail price for the Visionnaire starting at £199,500, the only example available in black in the world is a highlight of the Watches auction on 15th May.

Designed with luminescent hour markers and a segmented dial, the timepiece features a double AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 30 meters. With movement gear wheels and other essential elements of the design visible on both the front and back of the watch, the captivating horological creation performs its rotations in full view and exemplifies the refinement and technical perfection for which Fabergé is internationally recognised.
