A GROUP OF TERRACOTTA FEMALE HEADS Circa 5th – 4th Century B.C. Including a Tanagra head with centrally-parted hair, drawn into a chignon at the base of the neck; a fragment from a larger figure with a long neck, wavy hair and circular earrings; two further Tanagra heads; and an after the antique head, wearing drapery over her head, 4cm – 6.7cm high, (5) Provenance: Private UK collection acquired in 1912 at a local auction; and thence by descent.
