A CHINESE CANTON ENAMEL ‘COCKERELS’ DISH.
Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.
Painted with a pair of cockerels near a spray of roses and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork, all within borders of prunus blossoms on a crackled ice ground, ruyi heads and chevron, the reverse with sprays of blossoms, 22.6cm diameter.
