A CHINESE BRONZE EWER AND COVER.

17th Century.

The pear-shaped body supported on a spreading foot and surmounted by a tall domed cover, the spout issuing from the mouth of a mythical beast, opposite an ‘S’-curved dragon handle, the body, foot and cover incised with figurative and floral decoration, the cover set with a lion finial, 27cm H. (2)
