A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE ‘DRAGON’ TEAPOT AND COVER.
Qing Dynasty, 18th Century.
The ovoid body painted with two confronting dragons chasing the sacred pearl of wisdom amidst wisps of fire and clouds, separated by the spout, with a tall loop handle and a small spout mounted with white metal connected by chains to the finial of a metal cover, 17cm H.
