A CHINESE BRONZE VASE.

Qing Dynasty, 18th Century.

Of baluster form, with the rounded body supported on a splayed foot and rising to a waisted neck, the body with a band of taotie masks on a stipple ground, the two sides divided by vertical raised ridges, the neck set on either side with a taotie mask handle, 16cm H.

Provenance: an English Private Collection.
