Ming Dynasty, Wanli period, or later.
Decorated to the cover with a dragon and a phoenix amongst flowers and fire wisps, the sides with further dragons and phoenix birds, a six character Wanli mark to the base and a paper label for Martin Hurst Collection, 18cm diameter. (2)
