A pair of embroidered wall hangings, the ochre and red grounds heavily worked in metallic thread wound around a silk core, the higher register enriched with three polylobed calligraphic cartouches, the background a triumph of vegetal sprouting, the border with Arabic inscriptions, the lower register with a geometric grid design.
