Lot 154

Two Middle Eastern/Ottoman flintlock pistols and Yemen jambiya dagger. The pistols are probably early 20th century tourist pieces, but do appear functional, with working locks and drilled breech holes. They are slightly different to each other and both feature mother of pearl and white metal and copper alloy wire decoration to barrels, locks and stocks. The actions are functional though require attention. Each around 35cm. The jambiya and scabbard probably dates to the late-19th or early 20th century, featuring a white metal hilt and period leather-bound wooden sheath. Total length 34cm.(3)

Estimate: £250-£300
