An Edwardian sterling silver mounted claret jug, London 1909 by William Commyns
the panelled clear glass body with faceted loop handle the silver mount with foliate scroll borders, engraved with a crest of a lion head erased impaled by an arrow, with bulbous faceted stopper. Fully marked to collar. Together with an Old Sheffield silver plate wine label, for Brandy.
Height – 26 cm / 10.25 inches
