A PAIR OF SEVRES PORCELAIN OUTSIDE-DECORATED CABINET PLATES, late 19th Century, the first painted with ‘Camp du Drap d’or’ depicting the meeting between Francis I and Henry VIII in 1520 near Calais, the second with the ‘Bataille de Denain’ on 24th July 1712, the rims with elaborate gilt borders on a blue ground, both titled in black script to the reverse, 24.4cm diameter, red printed ‘Chateau des Tuileries’ marks, blue printed factory marks, green printed S.33 and S.34 (2)
