A GREEK CORE-FORMED BLUE ALABASTRON Circa 4th – 3rd Century B.C. Formed of dark blue glass with a globular body and a short neck topped with a flat disc rim, the vessel is decorated with applied white and yellow trial tooled into a feathered pattern, with three yellow threads applied in bands around the neck and a further yellow trail just survives around the rim, 7.7cm high,  Provenance: Collection of Mr. Maurice Mathieu, acquired from Asfar, Lebanon, in the 1960s.
