A PRE-COLUMBIAN JALISCO FIGURE Circa 100 B.C. – 300 A.D. The female figure depicted in a crouching position, with two ‘leg’ supports joining her body at the lower back, with her hands raised to her breasts, the figure has an oversized head and wears large earrrings and a nose ring, the headdress is portrayed with linear incisions revealing the white pottery below the red slip with which the whole body is covered, 33cm high,  Provenance: With Aaron Gallery since the 1960s.
