A BYZANTINE BLUE GLASS CHALICE Circa 5th – 6th Century A.D. Of pale blue glass, the chalice of elegant proportions stands on a circular foot with a short stem in the form of a knop, the bowl of the vessel flares outwards, with ribbed bands adorning the rim, 10.5cm high,  Literature: F.
