Charles II- Grant of Arms 

Grant of Arms issued by Sir Edward Walker, Garter King of Arms to Richard Smyth of Pounden, Buckinghamshire,  manuscript on vellum with three-sided foliated border, large foliate initial and  illuminated coat of arms granted to Smyth to top right corner, signed “Edw Walker, Garter” at foot, some staining, creasing and folding marks, folio, 16 September 1662.

***Sir Edward Walker (1611-77). He followed Charles II into exile and was with him constantly, not only as his Garter King of Arms but as Clerk of his Privy Council and after the King’s return from exile in 1660
