Keulemans, 13 uncoloured wood-engraved illustrations in the text. Very finely bound in full green crushed morocco gilt by Sotheran, the covers with gilt floral borders and cornerpieces, the spines gilt in compartments, gilt edges (some light rubbing to upper joints of vol. II), original part-wrappers bound in. A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION of this sumptuous monograph, with Ôlife-sizeÕ plates of startling beauty and finish, in which the art of lithography and hand-colouring reached its zenith.
