A CHINESE DAYAZHAI-STYLE TURQUOISE-GROUND WARMING BOWL AND COVER.

Late Qing Dynasty.

Decorated in famille rose enamels with a lishui band encircling the spreading pedestal foot and a bird perched on a wisteria vine beside a rose branch on the sides of the bowl, with a pair of gilded, moulded masks on either side suspending a wire handle , the shallow, domed cover similarly decorated below a gilded Buddhist lion finial, 19cm H, 18.5cm diameter.
