A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'LADIES' JAR AND COVER.

Qing Dynasty, Kangxi era.

The baluster form body decorated with ladies separated by flower-filled jardinières and trees and variously holding a rabbit, fly whisp, mandolin and flower,  below a band of phoenixes on the shoulders and auspicious symbols on the neck, the domed cover decorated with six cavorting boys, apocryphal Da Ming Chenghua nianzhi mark to base, 27cm H.
