A CHINESE CINNABAR LACQUER JARDINIÈRE.
Qing Dynasty, 18th Century.
The quadralobed deep body rising from four short feet, finely carved on each side of the exterior with a square panel with cut corners enclosing scenes of a scholar and attendants in a landscape, all reserved on dense scrolling lotus and trellis diaper ground, 20.7cm diameter.
