Original green cloth lettered in gilt and decorated in dark green (spine a little faded, bumped). Provenance: THOMAS BLOFELD (armorial bookplate); “J. W. Sheppard. The [?]Kings. 15th August 1894, from B. [?]Smith” (inscription on front pastedown). FIRST EDITION. Allen, A Song for Cricket pp.60-62;  Padwick 6568. The book also includes a 3-page golfing poem, 'Golf steals our Youth.' "Another of my father's books, but without 007 connections" (H.B.).
