CRICKET CANE. A root wooden cane, the head modelled in the form of a hand holding a cricket ball, 850mm. in length, [19th-century]. "I bought this cane from Robin Marlar when he sold his cricket collection. It is, I think, a splendid object which sort of complements the more delicate Lot 125" (H.B.).
