CRICKET BAT. A full-length “Imperial Driver Gradidge Super” cricket bat, with short handle, SIGNED by Douglas Jardine’s England side to tour India 1933/34, and with metal plaque engraved, “This Bat, which bears the signatures of the Members of the M.C.C. Indian Touring Team 1933-34, was presented to the County Offices Staff Cricket Club on the 12th December, 1935, by Mr. A. Merivale, Assistant Solicitor, a Vice-President of the Club,” length 840mm., [1935]. "The year after Bodyline, Jardine took the England side to India in 1933/34 and this bat contains the signiatures of all the players. A rare object" (H.B.).
