PRESENTATION COPIES from the editor to Henry Blofeld, the 1983 vol. inscribed, “John Woodcock. In long friendship, Wooders. Longparish 15/10/[?]15”; the 1984 vol. inscribed “John Woodcock, My dear old thing! Longparish 15/10/[?]15”; the 1985 vol. inscribed “John Woodcock, Affectionately, Wooders” and the 1986 vol. inscribed, “John Woodcock, with many a fond memory, Wooders.” Each of the four volumes is, in turn, SIGNED by Henry Blofeld. "I persuaded Johnny Woodcock to sign the four volumes he was responsible for as editor.
