European Works of Art & Clocks
The European Works of Art and Clock department handles a diverse range of decorative objects, sculpture and clocks dating from the 12th century to the end of the 19th century. The quarterly specialist auctions offers works of art and sculpture in materials such as bronze, marble, alabaster and wood and include Medieval wood carvings, through to the Baroque and Rococo period, to 19th century bronze sculpture and everything in between.
In addition to decorative objects such as urns, fire screens, tea caddies, candelabra and other lighting, the sales also feature a large selection of clocks. Clocks include 18th and 19th century bracket/table clocks, carriage clocks, musical clocks, mystery clocks and long-case clocks alongside more decorative French clocks in marble and gilt bronze, ranging in price from £300 upwards.
Please note close of entries for these quarterly sales is approximately 6-8 weeks before the sale date.
The next auction of Fine European Works of Art & Clocks will take place on the 6th of December.
