Ceramics & Glass
The quarterly Ceramics & Glass sales have a primary focus on British and European pottery, porcelain and glass from the 15th to the early 20th centuries. The sales are designed to cater for collectors, enthusiasts and traders alike. Continental ceramics remain a highly popular field for collectors and the sales have included pieces by factories such as Meissen, Doccia and Sevres.
Well-known names in British pottery and porcelain including Chelsea, Bow, Worcester and Minton also feature regularly and excellent prices for Russian porcelain and glass have been achieved in recent years. Alongside the more traditional English drinking glasses, early paperweights and engraved pieces from Britain and Europe do very well. Of particular note was the sale of the Pugh Collection of English Ceramics which featured some of the best names in English porcelain.
Based in London, which remains the international centre of the European Ceramics and Glass market, these sales have a strong online presence attracting a global audience who can buy and sell with confidence.
The next Ceramics & Glass auction will take place on the 24th October. Entries are invited.
