A MEISSEN PLATE, circa 1735-40, painted with scattered sprigs and sprays of flowers, the brown-edged rim moulded with a border of scrolling peonies, 22.6cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher’s mark of + for Johann Christoph Pietzsch inside the footrim PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
