A MEISSEN TEACUP AND SAUCER, circa 1750, painted with landscape vignettes depicting Watteauesque couples in parkland, gilt foliate scrollwork borders to the rims, scattered flowers to the cup and underside of saucer, the saucer 12cm diameter, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue and gilt number 1. to both, impressed numerals (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
