A MEISSEN YELLOW-GROUND EWER, circa 1745-50, the fluted, pear-shaped body on a flared foot, reserved with two panels painted with Watteauesque couples in parkland, within elaborate gilt cartouches, the scroll handle edged in gold, 19.7cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (cover lacking) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
