A PAIR OF GEORGE III SHERATON STYLE MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD CARD TABLES, with inlaid oval shapes to the top, traight sides and curved apron with inlaid satinwood and hinged table top, the two back legs swing to support the lid which is covered inside with brown felt, raised on square section tapering legs. (2)

75cm high x 91cm wide x 45cm deep

Provenance: From a collection of furniture and antiques left to the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB ) in 1939 by Evelyn Stannus of Kensington. Items in the collection are believed to have come from Ireland. Since 1939 many objects from the collection have been on loan to the National Trust and this item has been displayed at Lyme Park.
