A MEISSEN TEAPOT AND A COVER, circa 1730-35, of bullet form with an animal spout and scroll-moulded tau handle, the body moulded with scattered sprigs and sprays of flowers, with a gilt foliate scroll border, the cover associated, 11cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, inscribed ‘B.v.F.’ in puce script, incised Dreher's mark of Z inside the footrim for Johann Christian Dietrich (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
