A GENTS VINTAGE ROLEX MARCONI WRISTWATCH
Maker: Rolex Marconi - Retailed by James Walker.
Date: Circa late 1930's.
Movement: Signed, mechanical, hand-wound, 15-jewel.
Dial: Triple signed - 'Rolex', 'Marconi', 'James Walker', matt silver outer chapter ring with minute track and Arabic numerals, around a polished center and an inset subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position.(Note: Dial is very clean and original, with no obvious fading or scratches. The original glass has numerous surface scratches casting many scratch-like shadows on the dial in the images, but the dial itself is very clean and the original glass would benefit from a polish).
Case: Signed, three-piece, wire lugs, the inner case back stamped 'Rolex Watch Co Ltd, Geneva, SNOWITE, Guaranteed To Stay Pure White for 20 Years', and stamped with the serial number '829913'.
Strap: Period brown leather with metal buckle.
