A MEISSEN COFFEE CUP AND SAUCER, circa 1745-50, both painted with a landscape vignette depicting Watteauesque figures in parkland, within elaborate gilt foliate cartouches edged in brown, scattered flowers to the reverse, with gilt-line rims and a scroll handle heightened in gold, the saucer 13.2cm diameter, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue and gold number 45. to both, impressed numeral 52 to saucer (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
