AN IZNIK POTTERY DISH Ottoman Turkey, late 17th - 18th century Of typical shallow shape, with flat everted rim, on circular foot drilled on one side, the white interior painted in bole red, cobalt blue and green within black lines, a central floral bloom with a stylised saz leaf, rosettes and other flowers rising from a tuft of grass, black spirals as background, the cavetto with stylised waves pattern, a band of flower heads on the rim, the exterior plain, 30cm diam.
