An early 20^th century French silver snuff or pill box, Paris circa 1910 by AG

Of oval form with a pull off lid. Engine turned decoration topped with translucent Royal blue enamel, the lid with a central oval painted enamel scene of a classical maiden sat within a garden in bloom with a fountain, a cherub at her feet. Gilt interior. Marked to interior of lid and to base bezel, maker’s AG with a French horn and axe between, the underside with a Russian import mark for 84 zolotnik for Moscow 1908-26.
