An early 19th century Indian colonial silver salt caster, Calcutta circa 1830 by Twentyman and Co (active 1818-20, then 1824-53)
Of cylindrical form upon a spreading circular foot with reeded rims, the pull off domed and waited lid with drill pierced holes. Engraved to the front SALT. Marked underneath T&Co, lion passant and an annulet tally mark.
