A MEISSEN PLATE, circa 1740, finely painted with scattered flowers or Holzschnittblumen, including a lily and a cornflower, amongst scattered insects, within a shaped gilt-edged rim, 23.7cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed numeral 20, incised / inside the footrim PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
