Of square shape, resting on four slanted bracket feet, the base worked in the shape of a lobed clover surrounded by a mashrabiya-inspired railing, the centre with an everted stepped pedestal with four columns surmounted by a carved and intricately ornate square table top, the decoration in line with traditional Syrian furniture of the 19th and 20th centuries including star-shaped geometric motifs inlaid in mother-of-pearl and ebonised wood, interlocking vegetal trellis, fretwork bands on the edges, arabesques, palmettes, and gridwork, 92cm x 50cm x 50cm.
