The tripod-like table resting on three sloping bracket feet, surmounted by two-level lobed flower-shaped tabletops, the exterior decoration in line with traditional Syrian furniture of the 19^th and 20^th centuries engraved with interlocking vegetal sprays, six-pointed star shapes, chequered grids, stylised thuluth calligraphy, chevron fretwork bands, and palmettes, and inlaid with mother-of-pearl tesserae and metal wire in the shape of six-pointed stars and roundels, 54cm diam. and 70cm high.
