A BAHRAINI QURAYSHIA BRASS COFFEE POT (DALLAH)
Al-Manamah, Bahrain, late 19th - early 20th century

Of typical shape, resting on a plain circular base, with a tapering splayed body surmounted by a sharp conical hinged lid with a faceted spiky finial, with a sinuous handle and curved beak-shaped spout on each side, the neck, lid and spout engraved with geometric motifs and stylised vegetal bands, enhanced with several chainlets with diamond-shaped pendants, 39.5cm high.
