Of rectangular shape, the joined panel of purple velvet heavily worked in yellow metallic threads couched on cardboard, with highlights in French knot, the centre with a bold design of floral motifs reminiscent of ironwork, the corners with scrolling floral bundles, the border with smaller floral repeats interlinked with bows, lined with reinforced cotton, nailed to a wooden pole, 143cm x 183cm.
