Of rectangular form with a hinged lid set with five painted ivory Italian Grand Tour miniatures of famous buildings; (top left) the Arc de Triomphe, Paris, (bottom left) The Hôtel des Invalides, Paris, (centre) Rua Augusta Arch, Lisbon, (top right) the Pantheon, Rome, (bottom right) The Obelisk of Luxor, Paris, each glazed in gilt metal mount. Wooden interior. Engraved to the front for Percy Edwards and Co, 73 Piccadilly Street. Fully marked to the side, part-marked to the lid.
