FIVE IRANIAN ENGRAVED SILVER BEAKERS
Isfahan, Iran, circa 1950, stamped Hussain Parvaresh

Each beaker of tapering cylindrical shape with reinforced moulded rims, resting on a flat base, the exterior decorated with alternating cusped cartouches filled with stylised floral motifs like rosettes and lotus flowers, foliage and arabesques, two beakers fitted with rope-twisted handles making them look like miniature buckets, each beaker stamped with the maker's mark Hussain Parvaresh and '84', each of a slightly different shape, the largest 5cm diam. and 5.5cm high.
