Qing Dynasty, 19th Century

清十九世紀 外銷廣彩文房用具一組

Comprising a rectangular ink well with circular liner, the four sides decorated with butterflies and blossoms, a similarly-sized brush rest with sides bearing a finely-painted continuous garden scene with four figures, the top pierced with a series of holes over a concave surface, both resting within a fitted rectangular tray, the raised rim decorated with a floral border beneath a gilt rim,
