A MEISSEN PLATE, circa 1735, painted in Kakiemon style with the 'Schmetterling' pattern of a butterfly on flowering branches, further scattered flower sprays to the brown-edged rim, 23.7cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed E inside footrim for Johann Gottfried Eckoldt PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
