A PERSIAN SILVER VASE
Qajar Iran, late 19th - early 20th century

Of tapering cylindrical shape, resting on a short circular foot, the body fully engraved in the typical Isfahani style of silversmith Ja'far's creations, featuring registers of cusped cartouches and lobed medallions filled with floral triumphs, interlocking vegetal sprays, and rumi motifs, three larger cartouches in the centre with repoussé animal gatherings in the wilderness, 15.5cm high, 200g weight.
